Refund & Exchange Policy




Purchasing lift tickets and packages online is a simple and convenient way to reduce the amount of time you spend preparing for your ski outing, and increasing the amount of time you spend on the slopes. It is the customer’s responsibility to correctly select the items they wish to purchase, to accurately enter required information, and to submit requested purchases within the designated period. If a customer needs to add items or services to an order, simply place a new order. Existing orders cannot have items or services added.

CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS: An order may be changed or cancelled within 24 hours of submission. Refunds will not be issued after that time period. To make a change or cancellation request, please call during normal business hours.

Changes or cancellations requiring a refund will be handled in one of two ways. The customer should indicate their preference.

Refund Option #1: 100% of dollar value converted to a Detroit Mountain Gift Card and mailed to your credit card billing address.

Refund Option #2) Value of refund less $15.00 processing fee per transaction credited back to your credit card.

If no preference is indicated, the credit will be processed as a Detroit Mountain Gift Card, and mailed to the customer’s credit card billing address. Refunds, credits and gift card conversion can take up to 10 days to process.

All season pass purchases are final, and not refundable. In the case of a medical situation, please contact our office to arrange for a medical deferment. Credit will be issued as stated below to be applied towards a season pass for the next season. A letter from a doctor is required for verification and the letter must be received at Detroit Mountain Area within 14 days of the incident that requires a medical release.
No refund after February 1

Any checks returned for insufficient funds will be accessed a $25 fee.
